Start with your working day
Think about your workplace dress code and days that follow a different routine. Meetings and working from home may call for different outfits, but some pieces can work for both.
Consider shoes, weather and outerwear too. An outfit needs to work for the whole day, including the journey, not just in a photograph.
Look at what you already own
Choose a few pieces you enjoy wearing to work, perhaps trousers, a blazer and a favourite shirt. Try them together and identify the gaps. A new base layer may be enough; you may not need a full new outfit.
Skip universal lists of essentials. If you do not wear skirts or shirts, your capsule does not have to include them.
Build around a useful base
Choose one or two quiet shades and a colour you enjoy. Try each new top with at least two bottoms you already own.
Layers help with changing temperatures: a fine knit under a blazer or a top under an open shirt. Check that the layers move comfortably without pulling or bunching.
Try it through a real week
Photograph combinations on yourself and plan a few outfits for the coming working days. This makes repeated gaps, uncomfortable shoes and missing details easier to notice.
Bring those photos to S.L.O.I. We can discuss your needs and budget, try additions and explore combinations. Availability and prices are confirmed during styling.
Styling ideas, not a promise of stock. We confirm current pieces, sizes and prices during your consultation.
